After the election let down.

The election is over and it didn't happen as many had hoped. We all were hoping for the Christian American first candidates to win, but in many cases that didn't happen. In many parts of the country the majority of the population voted to leave the state of affairs unchanged. What a let down!

There were some bright moments and in some states the results are still not known. There will even be a runoff in Georgia. We can be thankful that we still have a nation that we can make our voices heard through the election process. In many parts of the world this is prohibited and even punished. Thanks be to the Lord we live here.

We mustn't stop praying for our leaders. Whether the person in power is of our like mind or opposed to most of our Christian views of government, the Lord tells us to pray for all our leaders. These people were put in office through the election process and we know as Christians by the will of Christ. Understanding the long range goal of the Lord is never easy but we rest assured that the Lord always has the good of his people in mind.

So, take a deep breath, look around at the blessings God has given, and pray unceasingly. The Lord hears all our prayers. He will answer our pain the way He sees best. We live in a great country, we are free to worship our Lord, there is no better place on earth. I'm resolved to pray for all our leaders and trust in the Lord's wisdom of the path the nation is on at this time.

God be with us and our nation.
