Let's start anew

I have decided to this year try a new year's resolution. I will engage in the blog site on a regular basis. I have neglected the website and the blog. This has been a detriment to me, my writing, and the audience I wish to have hold and support. So, let's give this a new try this year.

Hi, I'm David G Spietz. I have written and self-published one book,"Psalms to Inspire". I am writing a fictional novel, and have written many more poems and short stories. I plan in the coming months put together a book of the new poems and short stories for publishing. This time instead of self-publishing I'm going to try the other method. I'm going to try and sell my book and ideas to a regular publisher. Wish me luck...

As many friends know I did study to be Lutheran minister, but I did not succeed at that endeavor. I would later be lead by the Spirit to go in another direction. I have been a truck driver now for over 18 years with one company. I have used this time to pray, study, and minister to people as the opportunity presents itself. Those times have been a blessing. I have become an ordained minister with the blessing of my wife. I did not go the cheap and ridiculous way, but sought out a site on the internet that promoted the true Word of God and Jesus Christ our Savior. This also has help in its own way of openning doors that may not have been opened before. Pray that my gifts, words and ministry may be bless by the LORD. Please help and support me in my efforts.

The Lord has truly blessed me this past year. I decide to head the Word of the Lord. "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, say the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgate of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." Malachi 3:10 NIV. I though pray have done this to the best of my sinful nature, and the Word of the Lord is true. I have been Blessed. Believe on the Lord and he will be with you.

On a side note I have started a short story about a Roman praetor named Gaius. This all started with a dream I had that was unreal. I was watching the happenings, but I was not a part of the dream. This is very unusal for dreams so I had to write the story. Stay tuned for the full story.
