Proverbs 28

I find that the first five verses of Proverbs chapter 28 can all point to many of the politics of our world today. Not just here in the United States but also in other parts of the world.

Verse 1 "The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion."

Verse 2 "When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a man of understanding and knowledge maintains order."

Verse 3 "A ruler who oppress the poor is like a driving rain that leaves no crops."

Verse 4 "Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them."

Verse 5 "Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully."

Can you see different parts of the world or different persons in the verses? I can and some of today's leaders make it easy. In verse one I think of the difference between Kim-jung Um and President Trump. Verse two can be countries like Afghanistan, Somalia, or Syria. Verse three looks like Venezuela all over with its leader and the country taken to the poor house.Verse four and five I think illustrates our own politicians the good , seeking the good of the country; the bad, out for their own power and the destruction of the US.

Many people look at the Bible as a book written eons ago with no valve for today. What I just picked are very obvious verses that can be used in today's political atmosphere, but the whole Bible is good for today, tomorrow, and yes even 1000 years yesterday. The Word of the Lord never looses it use and value to help us learn about faith, hope, and life leading to heaven.

I read the Bible daily, study it when I can, and write about it to help others. Don't think you have no time to read and study GOD's word. You have a limited time to study and learn and an eternity to regret any mistake that you may do at the moment. Take a five minute break ever day and start. If you need help there are many apps, studies, and other believers that can get you on the right path. Study hard, the final exam is coming ready or not.

I pray for you all till next time.
