Spring: Start of new LIFE.

It's spring, do you feel the life coming back into you? Do feel and see the life around starting over again? There are tulips, tree buds, green grass. and farmers in the fields. Many years ago I wrote a poem, inspired by the first time I had to deal with my Dad going to the hospital, knowing he was on his end of life journey( even though he lived a long time still}. I think the true passing of the seasons is why I like living in the state of Wisconsin. Every spring I feel the renewal of life. The birds are around, the trees bud out, and the lawn starts to grow. The world doesn't just feel it is renewing itself. Life is real. The air is fresh. Like a newborn it screams with enjoyable life.

Some day I will reach the final goal of all Christians, heaven. This destination is the new earth and the new heaven that the Lord promised us. It will be like a permanent springtime. Our life and all around us will be renewed and forever fresh alive to see. The excitement to some day experience that type of spring is real in me. Is it real in you?

This time of year is also Easter. The celebration of our Savior's rising from the grave. The completion of His work to save us from our sins. We can now in faith know that we will be with Jesus in heaven to forever enjoy the forever spring. Take time to meet with other Christians and celebrate this good fortune together. Our joy is so overflowing that we need to share this joy with all who will listen.
